The Manor House is now being offered as holiday accommodation for up to 10 people. You will find many of the original features whilst the cottage offers all the comforts of a modern home.
The Manor House sits slightly behind the rest of the cottages but still has full access to all our facilities, until recently it has been the much loved home of the owners of Norfolk Cottages. The cottage has undergone a great deal of renovation over recent years, what started as a large scale decorating job turned into much more as it was discovered that the cottage was not 17th century as thought but much older and is actually a Medieval Hall House which was built around 1350 to 1380. It is thought to be the oldest privately owned home of this type in Norfolk. Following an archaeological dig and in depth reports restoration was finally completed in 2004.
