Rose
Cottage:
A reconstructed Oak framed barn has been converted into an excellent
family holiday cottage. A
wealth of exposed beams and high ceilings gives this spacious property a
character all of its own. A
firm favourite with all family members.
A
large pine fitted kitchen diner has a farmhouse feel with all the
cupboards and appliances fitted at low level for easy access, it also
has a double oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with ice box.
A large pine table extends to seat eight people comfortably.
Double
doors lead into the living room, where a log burner sits for cosy winter
evenings. A high vaulted ceiling and galleried staircase create a
wonderful atmosphere. Patio
doors lead to a private decked area, with table and chairs and a view
through the orchard and across open fields. A very gentle slope takes
you into the grounds.
Rose
Cottage has bedrooms on two levels.
A winding staircase takes you to the first floor where there is a
family suite comprising of a double room with a doorway to a twin room.
A bathroom has a shower over the bath (shower is hand held only due to
the vaulted ceiling). On
the ground floor there is a double room and a single room each with a
vanity unit. There is a shared ensuite shower room with large wheel-in
shower, a toilet with transfer space to the right of the toilet and a
small hand basin.
Rose
Cottage has been inspected for the new accessible standards and has
achieved NAS Mobility 2.
