Autumn

            Very good welcome, good starter provisions and toilet rolls welcome.  Good range of utensils and equipment – also crockery and cutlery.  Comfortable beds and bedding.  Lovely to have plenty of towels provided.  Very well furnished and lit.  Heating good, but too warm in the bedrooms compared with the living areas.  Towel rail very good idea.  Flooring extremely good.  Very good hot water supply.  Water flow very good, especially toilet flushes.  Good eating/sitting out areas outside.  Lovely views from each room, interior well laid out.

            What a lovely week!  A fantastic retreat for a family during the festive time.  Lots of lovely treats in touches – but then I am a Londoner!  Will hopefully return when the sun’s out!  Thank you.

New Year 

              We have had a great week – the daily trip to the hot spa through the snow was a novelty we will long remember!  We really appreciated the welcoming touches, such as the wine, milk etc and the continual supply of logs and kindling.  We have had a wonderful, peaceful time and we will return one day.  We recommend the food at the Burston Crown (usually need to book) and the Friday morning auction in Diss was fascinating for us Londoners!

              Hello from America!  Bruce and I have spent a wonderful, energising week here in Rose cottage.  It is our 2^nd trip to England and we have had a ball.  The accommodation couldn’t have been nicer and the Host and Hostess were most gracious and accommodating.  We especially enjoyed visiting London and Norwich with trips to Norwich castle, Riverside restaurants and the mall.  I would recommend this lovely cottage to anyone who wants to get away from the US.  We wouldn’t change a thing.

              Beautiful home in a beautiful setting.  Lovely under floor heating and excellent facilities.  A video player for the little ones would have been a bonus.  Fantastic hot tub, overall a superb weekend, will definitely be returning…..

              Just arrived and this place is fantastic.  Wood fire great and can’t wait to try out the spa.  Loads of room and great games to play.  The only problem is that the double room and the twin single have a bit of a problem because the  twin has to go through the double, which can be quite annoying.

            Went to Diss today and looked around town and the auctions.  Tried out the spa and it is great, going to try to go in 3 times a day, under floor heating is quite cool and my Nan likes all the wheelchair facilities and all the games to play.

              Thank you for a lovely weekend break away from it all.  The boys loved the pool and we all enjoyed our dips in the hot tub.  Make sure your visitors have their map books handy for days out – we never came back the same route!  The steak and kidney pudding at the Falcon in Pulham is highly recommended together with their post office for the newspaper.  We had a great day out at Banham Zoo, which was very close by.  Hopefully we will return and look forward to seeing the progress you have made.

            What a lovely couple of days here at Rose cottage.  We all had a wonderful time and a magical time in the sauna, hot tub and swimming pool.  The accommodation couldn’t be faulted it was perfect!!  We will return again soon, and will recommend to all friends and family.  Thank you for all your help and kindness.  Good luck for the future,

             We were looking forward to our weekend in Elveden (Centre Parcs)!!  The rest you know!         So it was a relief to get away from it all and with 8 of us the cottages with leisure facilities made up for it.  Good luck from Mr and Mrs Houghton and the Frank family.

            When we heard about the fire at Centre Parcs we though we would have to cancel our much longed for family weekend away.  Now I don’t think that we will ever return!  Not when we have our own private pool.  Our toddler’s confidence in the water soared and our sister was gracefully airlifted into the pool thanks to your newly fitted hoist.  We really appreciated those extra touches too like the wine and disability aids.  We are so glad we found you!

             Even the geographically challenged can eventually learn a reliable route here!  We did get lost a lot while we were away (even though Mum was a patrol leader with the Guides!)  We have been delighted by the cottage, all the thoughtful things you have included, the facilities, but above all, by the welcome we have received.  The week seemed very short, but it was very restful and recuperative – just what I needed.  I am so impressed by the inclusiveness of it all that I will spread the news amongst the pupils and parents at home who find too little attention to such things and too little availability.  Perhaps it is all summed up by saying that we want to make another booking, as soon as possible and bring dear friends.  Thank you,  Alison, Brenda and Edward.
